Gundlupet is a town and taluk headquarters situated in chamarajanagar district at the distance of 35km. History say that the name Gundlupet came from the name of river Gundlu, which was flow near the town. Gundlupet town stretches to an area of 4.23 SqKms. Gundlupet town was famous for tourism places.
